Ten to follow update
Only one of our horses to follow has run since the last update and resulted in a win for
Flintham at 7-1 in a
Pertemps Qualifier at Warwick on Saturday. The ground was very soft, which the horse palpably needs to show his best and he made all the running to hold off a persistent challenge from a well backed runner up, finding plenty and grinding out victory from the last. Any horse who won in that manner at the weekend will need a break and the trainer, who has barely had a runner let alone winner this season, seemed in no hurry to run him in the short term.
If Cheltenham is soft this year he obviously holds some sort of chance in the final of this series but they may well wait until next season to try him over fences for his next outing in which case he obviously
remains a horse of some potential as his family are Hennessy and Gold Cup winners.
