Result : Crawford WON on points. NO JOY BY  KO TKO or Disqualification FOR  Terence Crawford

Crawford won the WBO lightweight title after an effective and  dominant performance last night in Glasgow, where he dethroned Ricky Burns to win his first world title on scores of 117-111, 116-112, and 116-112. BLH had it 118-110 for Crawford.

Burns always the warrior, never quit on himself in the fight, and had moments throughout, hanging in and looking for big shots. But he appeared befuddled by Crawford's speed, timing, and accuracy, and by trying to figure out a remotely effective offensive game plan for himself. Burns was hurt a handful of times during the fight, but burns never bothered Crawford. It was an outclassing, but one Burns took pretty well, all things considered.
